Water Service Taps
A water service tap is the connection point where a building’s water line is connected to the main water supply. In simple terms, it’s how water gets from the city’s main pipe into a home or business. To install a water service tap, Barth Company Sewer & Water will locate the main water line and attach a special fitting that allows water to be safely drawn from it. Then we will connect a smaller service pipe to that fitting and run it to the building. A valve is usually included so the water can be turned on and off when needed.
