Stop Box Replacement
What is a Stop Box?
A stop box is part of a property’s water service system and provides access to the underground shutoff valve that controls water flow from the main line to the building. It’s typically a vertical pipe or sleeve that runs from ground level down to the valve, allowing a tool (called a key) to reach and turn the water on or off without digging. Stop boxes are commonly used by utility companies or contractors during maintenance, repairs, or emergencies. Barth Company Sewer & Water can install, repair, or replace stop boxes, ensuring reliable access to your water shutoff and compliance with local standards.
