Sump Pumps

A sump pump is a device used to remove unwanted water from a building, most commonly from a basement or crawl space. Water collects in a sump pit (a small basin installed at the lowest point of the area), and when the water reaches a certain level, the pump automatically activates and discharges it away from the foundation to prevent flooding, water damage, and issues like mold. Unlike sewer pumps, which handle wastewater, sump pumps deal with relatively clean water from drainage systems.

At Barth Company Sewer & Water, we are equipped with the knowledge and equipment to handle any of your sump pump needs. From repairs to new installations, we've got you covered. Give us a call to speak with a local underground professional.
